How we helped a Local Transit Authority win $12,000,000 through the low or no emissions and buses and bus facilities grant

In 2023, the Department of Transportation combined two programs: Low or No Emissions Vehicles with Buses and Bus Facilities grants. Both programs help local governments accelerate capital projects to replace, rehabilitate and purchase buses, vans, and related equipment, and to construct bus-related facilities, including technological changes or innovations to modify low or no emission vehicles or facilities.

This case study highlights the unique needs of government customers in the grant writing space.  Faced with different application and disclosure requirements, government clients can increase grant success if they follow some of the proposed frameworks shared in this case study.
